Privacy Policy

Last updated — 10 October 2026

NetGoWeb ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit https://netgoweb.cloud or contact us, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It also describes our use of cookies and local storage.

1. Who we are

NetGoWeb is a website design and development studio based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws — including Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR — we are the data controller of the personal information described below.

You can reach us at netgoweb00@gmail.com or at our studio: Ulu Tiram, Johor Bahru (E), Johor — 81800, Malaysia

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you email us, call us, or book a meeting, you may share your name, email address, phone number, company name and any project details or other information you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard technical information in server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This information is used to keep the site secure, reliable and functioning correctly.

Information stored on your device

We store your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. See section 6 (Cookies & local storage) for details.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and communicate with you;
  • Provide, scope and deliver the services you request;
  • Operate, maintain and secure our website;
  • Maintain business and financial records; and
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where required, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent, the performance of a contract with you (or steps taken at your request before entering a contract), our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing your information

We only share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate, and only as needed to provide those services. These may include our website host, our email provider and our meeting-scheduling provider. We require providers to protect your information and use it only for the agreed purpose.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

6. Cookies & local storage

We keep our use of cookies and similar technologies to a minimum:

  • Theme preference (local storage). We save your light or dark theme choice under the local storage key netgoweb-theme so the site looks the way you prefer on your next visit. This is a strictly necessary preference — it contains no personal information and is not used to track you.
  • No advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or third-party analytics.
  • Third-party services. Our "Schedule a meeting" link opens our scheduling provider in a new tab. That provider may set its own cookies on its own domain, subject to its own privacy and cookie policies.

Because we do not use non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie-consent banner. You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings; the site will simply revert to your system theme.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with legal, accounting and reporting requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may store information on servers located outside your country. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at netgoweb00@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Third-party links

Our website and portfolio may link to websites and projects operated by others. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.

12. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we will delete such information if we become aware of it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.

14. Contact us
